In response to government-mandated limitations on stadium attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, Prosper ISD is proud to announce that it will produce live video broadcasts of Prosper Eagle and Rock Hill Blue Hawk home football games this fall. The broadcasts will be staffed by members of the Prosper and Rock Hill broadcast journalism departments in roles on and behind the cameras.
The broadcasts will be carried on the NFHS Network (NFHSNetwork.com) where a monthly or annual subscription will provide access to live Eagle and Blue Hawk home football games as well as other PISD high school and middle school athletic events. Bryan Sutcliffe will assume the play-by-play duties for the slate of ten home football games. He has provided play-by-play for Prosper ISD athletics since 2012. He will be joined by color commentator William Broderick. William is a graduate of the University of North Texas where he covered multiple sports as a commentator and reporter. He also served as the Voice of the Texarkana Twins of the Texas Collegiate Baseball League.
“Prosper ISD is extremely excited to be able to bring not only Prosper ISD football, but events from across the District to audiences in the community and around the world,” said Prosper ISD Athletic Director Valerie Little.
The Prosper ISD football broadcast schedule starts with Prosper’s home matchup with Prestonwood Christian on Friday, September 25. The first Rock Hill broadcast features the Blue Hawks’ first ever game at Children’s Health Stadium at PISD against Hallsville on Friday, October 2.
